Anyone Familiar with the FBT13P-50BC-300?

My brother recently came back with this older FBT13P-50BC-300 electric forklift for our light duty warehouse use, but info on this model is pretty scarce from my findings and it's doing well so far, but I'd love to connect with anyone who's run one or knows the ins and outs. The main thing I'm trying to figure out is how serviceable the units really are like parts availability, quirks with the controller, known weak spots and things like that. The battery system is still okay, but I'm considering a refresh soon and want to make sure I'm not missing any issues that could be model specific
I'd appreciate any direction, manuals, wiring diagrams, or real advice would go a long way.

It's great to hear everything's running smoothly so far. Finding info on those can be a bit tricky, but they usually hold up pretty well. You might need to do some digging for parts, have you checked out TVH or Helmar? Older Nichiyus can have some quirky controllers, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on that. And doing a battery refresh is a smart move, too. By the way, do you have a manual for it yet, or are you still on the hunt?

Yeah, finding info on older, more obscure forklift models like yours can definitely be tough..
For parts availability, your best bet will likely be industrial surplus dealers or specialized forklift salvage yards rather than new OEM parts.
The controller can be a wildcard on these older units though.
Sometimes they're surprisingly robust, but other times they're prone to intermittent issues as components age.
If you run into problems, I'd say it's easier finding a specialist who can diagnose and potentially repair it than find a replacement!
