Terex Atlas 1505m no movement

Our Terex Atlas 1505m isn't moving at all, the handbrake light stays on, and we're also getting a warning about high hydraulic oil temperature (tho the sensor is broken). Could the faulty sensor be preventing it from running, or is it more likely tied to the handbrake issue? Any advice?

A faulty hydraulic temp sensor might trigger a safety lockout, but the stuck handbrake light is more likely the culprit, you can check brake switch wiring or pressure sensors, Terex systems often won't move with brake faults

When a safety lockout is triggered, the system basically disables movement to protect key components from damage or overheating. In the case of a faulty hydraulic temp sensor, it might trick the machine into thinking it's too hot, so it won't engage drive functions. But if the handbrake circuit shows a fault, that usually takes priority....most Terex machines won't even allow travel if the system thinks the brake is still on. I'd still start with diagnosing the brake circuit first.

Absolutely, the issues with the brake circuit tend to take priority over everything else. It makes the most sense to begin with that.
